Prior to the official unveiling of the RIM’s upcoming
Blackberry Z10, some interesting details about the device are leaked
online, pointing to an aggressive effort from the Canadian mobile
manufacturer RIM to reclaim the position, once it held in the mobile
phone segment.
According to the reports in Business Insider, the new Operating System
is quite fast and boots up in less than a minute. The build quality of
the device is ‘really solid’ along with a rubber back that snaps off
easily. It is also rumored that the flagship Smartphone will feature a
full touch display with a 4.3” screen which looks appealing, high
resolution and the device is just 10mm thick which shows a chance of
breaking the records among other Smartphones.
ETrade Supply, a Smartphone component supplier claims to have got hold
of certain information regarding the components of BlackBerry Z10 and
have showcased it in their own style. Their reports reveal that the
device consists of a micro SD card slot and an HDMI port. The device
also lets you set up alternate profiles for work and personal use.
As per the reports, the BB10 has a long way to go to catch up with the Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android
because Apple and Google already possess huge chunks of the content and
apps the users wish for. However, the company offers a newly redesigned
AppWorld that looks similar to the Google Play store.
On January 30 at a special event, the BlackBerry Z10 will be announced by RIM along with its redesigned BB10 OS
